Welcome to redgoose.ca! After agonizing over what domain to buy and working on the layout, I’ve finally finished. I’m happy with the results, especially that I was able to try a few new things and incorporate them into the design. It looks fine in Safari and Firefox, but have yet to test it out in Internet Explorer.
This is my first site build with Textpattern and so far it has been straightforward and quite easy. I really like how simple the base install is and that was the major deciding factor for me when choosing a CMS/blog to go with this time around. In the past I’ve tried MovableType, WordPress, and Mambo, and I would have to say that I’m very pleased with Textpattern.
As far as actual content is concerned, I plan on making at least one update a week, which has been my weakness in past attempts at keeping a blog going. Content will be a mixmash of experiences from work, reading, surfing, and life.
