Is it just me or does off site search engine optimization just seem shady? I just can’t shake that notion. Someone provide something, anything to change my view.
Anyone that I’ve met that claims to “specialize” in SEO just seems like a sleazy salesmen promising the impossible. I guess it doesn’t help that you have a billion (search engine optimized no less) articles and websites claiming to be the blue pill for higher page ranking. Not to mention the fake (and sometimes paid) press releases, articles, blogs, link exchanges and back links that represent the realm of off site search engine optimization.
